The Hardwear Company was established in 1985 by Stephen Strachan as a summer business to fund his university studies. The shop focused on windsurfers and beachwear in those early days.

The Hardwear company has been at the forefront of many emerging sports being the first in the area to introduce Kayaking Snowboarding Paddleboarding Wakeboarding Ebikes Kiteboarding and Electric Foilboards among other great new sports and activities. We only carry equipment that we use ourselves and service.
